I am so happy for this conversation with Niurka.  I am so proud of her for her journey and sharing it with us.

Niurka Castaneda grew up in Cuba and came from a family of entrepreneurs and artists. Her grandfather was a poet, and her parents were Cuban entrepreneurs. Niurka joined the army one year after she arrived in the US and she learned skills like resilience, flexibility, self-motivation, determination, self-discipline, goal setting, and risk tolerance. It was only natural to transition from the military to become an entrepreneur.
